Tanika C. Anderson
Tanika C. Anderson, 31, residing at 433 Green St, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2007.
Her current place of worship was Vineyard Heritage Center. Because of her faith and testimony many came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Tanika also was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Lancaster. She attended Conestoga Valley High School and was a 1995 graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School. She served as former President of the Keystone Club with the Boys and Girls Club and was recognized as Girl of the Year. Tanika was a Lancaster New Era Teen of the Week. She received the Ruby Payne Humanitarian Award. Tanika worked as a Cultural Translator for the Shalom Partnership Program. She had a never ending love for children.
Tanika was blessed to have two sets of parents, Terri Anderson and Vaughn Bosley, and John and Patricia Overly all of Lancaster. Also surviving are six sisters, Yvonne Anderson wife of William Dennison, Jami Anderson fiancée of Rashin Raison, Roberta Anderson wife of Eric Hill all of Lancaster, Sonya Fry of Texas, twins, Yvonne and Yvette Bosley, of OH, a brother, Jerome McLamore of Narvon; maternal grandmother, Roberta Anderson, maternal grandfather Robert Anderson married to Donna, all of Lancaster with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and caring friends.
Home Going Services will be held at Vineyard Heritage Center, 2050 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, PA on Monday, July 2, 2007 at 11 AM. Interment will be in the Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery, East Lampeter Twp., PA. Friends may view at the church on Monday between 9 and 11 AM. Flowers will be received or Memorial Remembrances can be made in Tanika's memory to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 55 S. Progress Ave., Harrisburg, PA 17109. Arrangements Entrusted to the Andrew T.
